Here at Electric 51 Speed Shop we believe the future is now.

This all started while building a 1958 Chevy Apache as a side project .The time had come to finalize the drive train and so naturally an LS was an option, maybe a vintage late ‘58 348 chevy engine, but it had all been done before and seemed kind of boring. The thought of an electric powered Classic Chevy had always been kicked around but nothing ever seemed like it had the power to move one of the old GM vehicles, that is until the Tesla. Well wouldn't you know, it, turns out you can buy salvaged Tesla motors these days. So naturally it wasn’t a question of if, but how, and 7 months later the World’s first Tesla Powered Apache was let loose on the streets of Salt Lake City UT.

Now with the Tesla Apache build under our belts, we would like to offer our services to you and help turn your electric dreams into reality.
